Q: What makes Belle Moi Wellness Center better?
A: We use the latest techniques and equipment available in the United States. All our staff are certified by LPG®. Our normal session is 55 minutes versus others are only 30 minutes. We use the exclusive LPG® Scan application to track and verify your progress. (You can still get results from other lesser systems, [i.e. Keymodule] but they will require many more treatments over a longer period of time. Make sure the machine they are using is from the LPG® INTEGRAL model series.)
Q: Does Endermologie really work?
A: Yes, it does work, as demonstrated over the past 12 years in thousands of case studies from around the world. It was enough proof for the FDA to authorize the manufacturer to claim a temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The FDA is renown for its strictest scientific standards worldwide.
Q: How many treatments can I have in one week?
A: The average number of treatments is two per week. If you are simultaneously in the process of losing a significant amount of weight or if you have a long-term problematic cellulite condition, one treatment per week is recommended More than two sessions per week will not bring faster results.
Q: How many sessions before I see results?
A: Usually people see changes within 5 or 6 sessions, but 14 are the average number of suggested treatments. Monthly maintenance sessions are suggested thereafter.
Q: Does Endermologie® help me lose weight?
A: No, the Endermologie® machine has not been proven to help with weight loss. The FDA allows the following claims in relation to beauty: to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite and to reduce circumferential body measurements in cellulite-treated areas, it is not a weight-loss device. In fact, the results of Endermologie will likely be enhanced if you are at your ideal body weight.
Q: Does this replace exercise?
A: No. In fact, it is highly recommended that you add diet and exercise to the routine you follow while undergoing Endermologie® treatments. In most cases, this improves results.
Q: Does this treatment work on men also?
A: Definitely. Our clinical experience has shown excellent results for problem areas such as “love handles” and loose pectoral tissue.
Q: Does the machine tone the skin?
A: Patients have been thrilled with the results, and have themselves also claimed an improvement in skin tone and appearance of stretch marks. Such claims, while entirely subjective and not documented by medical evidence, nonetheless demonstrate the extent of patient satisfaction.
Q: Why are bodysuits worn when receiving treatments?
A: Bodysuits allow the Endermologie® treatment head to glide more easily over the body and ensures optimal hygiene.
Q: What is the difference between Endermologie® and liposuction? Can it be used instead of liposuction?
A: Endermologie®, unlike liposuction, does not involve breaking through the skin in any way. Some people try Endermologie® first and then choose to wait to receive liposuction. Some choose to receive both as part of a dual treatment to their problem. Endermologie® is being used and studied by some of the most well-known practitioners of liposuction in the world.
Q: What sensations will I experience during the treatment?
A: The sensation is similar to a deep massage. Most clients find it quite pleasant. The strength of the treatment can be individually adjusted to your comfort level.
Q: What will I feel afterwards?
A: Most clients report a feeling of relaxation and an increase in energy. Since the Lymph system is stimulated, it is important for the success of your treatment that you drink at least two litres of water every day during the duration of your treatment in order to aid in elimination.
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: Minor, temporary bruising may rarely occur.
Q: Can I receive treatments if I am pregnant?
A: No correlation has been found between Endermologie® and complications in pregnancy. However, it is recommended that during pregnancy you do NOT receive treatments.
Q: Can I have Endermologie® treatments if I’m planning to have liposuction?
A: Yes! Endermologie is recommended by many plastic surgeons before and after liposuction (especially after). Endermologie® counteracts the rippling and hard fat deposits than can occur with liposuction.
================ Pressotherapy Information =================
Question: What is Pressotherapy?
Answer: Pressotherapy is a medical and beauty treatment that promotes lymphatic drainage by using air pressure on different parts of the body. By alternating between compression and decompression, it effectively stimulates the lymphatic system.
Question: How does the Pressotherapy equipment work?
Answer: A computer-controlled pump inflates the individual sections of the multi-chambered garments, which are positioned around the limbs. The pump inflates each chamber of the garment individually. Once a chamber has been inflated, its pneumatic circuit closes. This enables the pump to maintain the preset level and avoid the balancing of pressure with the other chambers. When one chamber is inflated, this causes an increase in pressure of the previously inflated chamber, creating an Automatic Double Pressure Gradient.
Question: What are the benefits of Pressotherapy?
Answer: You can enjoy many positive health and beauty benefits from applying pressure waves. You will see improvements to circulatory system disorders and venous issues like varicose veins, tired legs and heavy limbs.
If you are thinking about getting fit and losing weight, this type of treatment may be for you. By combining pressotherapy, diet and exercise, you will see better results in less time. You can also treat swelling or drain the toxins, fats and liquids that cause cellulite. You will recover skin elasticity, increasing oxygen flow to the body’s tissues and helping them regenerate.
The treatment also stimulates the immune system, building up your defences against pathogens, and can even help you lower your blood pressure if you have hypertension.
Pressotherapy can also help with digestive problems; when the treatment is applied to the abdomen it stimulates bowel transit and relieves constipation issues.
Elite athletes also use pressotherapy to improve their physical fitness. It is the perfect complement for toning muscles and joints. But it also relaxes the muscles, reducing muscle fatigue and preventing pain and cramping. Moreover, it strengthens connective tissues, alleviates stress and tension and reduces muscle spasms.
Question: Who should use Pressotherapy?
Answer: You don’t have to have a health or beauty problem to receive this treatment. You can receive pressotherapy sessions to improve your health and well-being.
However, it can be quite useful for people with cellulite, bloating, varicose veins, circulatory or intestinal issues, obesity, tired legs, rheumatism or menopause. It is also suitable for all ages.
Question: Are there any Contra-indications?
Answer: There are practically no contraindications, but there are cases for which the treatment is not recommended. You should not receive pressotherapy if you suffer from deep vein thrombosis, infections in the areas to be treated, body pain or numbness, if you are a cancer patient or have a pacemaker, if you have heart disease or if you are pregnant. But the treatment would be very useful after giving birth and during postpartum recovery.
Practising sports is not recommended before or after receiving the therapy. If you have any questions, please contact a professional in the field for personalized advice.
Question: How often should Pressotherapy be used?
Answer: You’ll need to do more than one session to see the results of pressotherapy. But after the first session, you will feel a clear improvement to your physical fitness, especially in terms of the elasticity and flexibility of the tissues. The professional will then assess how many sessions you need.
